November Dress Edit

Hill House

I absolutely adore the Athena Nap dress from Hill House. This is their new wrinkle resistant crepe fabric that was just released this fall. Shown in the pattern Trailing Blue Vine and in the size xxs (I’m 5’4). I paired it with my Lele Sadoughi petite pearl headband and attached both below along with my favorite color options. Check out my post Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice: The Best New Fall Outfits, Boots, and Recipes for more pictures or keep reading to see it in pink. Classic Tweed Dress

I love a classic tweed dress for cooler weather and this one is adorable! It has ruffle detailing, button cuffs, and is roomy enough to wear on Thanksgiving day! My Favorite Thanksgiving Sides

I saved the best for last! I love having a berry & cheese charcuterie board on the holidays! This one is from last year with a heart topped baked brie en croute, blackberries, strawberries, a pink prosecco cheese log, and assorted crackers. The recipe for the baked brie en croute and more can be found on my sisters Instagram: ButterbeansandBows. Keep reading for her green bean casserole, rum crumble sweet potato casserole, and three cheese mashed potato recipes.

Rum Crumble Sweet Potato Casserole

Bake 5 sweet potatoes at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Remove skin, mix with 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2 eggs, 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 cup melted butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk, & 1 tsp. vanilla extract and place in a dish. For the crumble: mix 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/3 cup flour, 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice, 1/4 cup melted butter, 1/2 cup chopped pecans, and a splash of your favorite rum. Top the casserole with the crumble topping & bake at 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Place marshmallows in a heart shape on top and warm until soft; enjoy!

Three Cheese Mashed Potatoes

Peel 2 pounds (6 large) potatoes and boil until tender. Add (to your taste & consistency preference) butter, cream cheese, garlic powder, salt, and milk. Mash until creamy and sprinkle in cheddar and parmesan cheeses and mix to combine. Season with a little black pepper, top with fresh chopped parsley, and enjoy!

Green Bean Casserole

3 Bags Frozen Green Beans

1 Vidalia Onion

I Bag French Fried Onions

2 Big Dallops Sour Cream

6 Strips Bacon

1 Can Campbells Cream of Mushroom Soup

1/2 cup Extra Sharp Cheddar

Cook bacon, drain grease (except for a little bit); caramelize onion in saved bacon grease & add green beans. SautΓ© until soft & pour in a bowl. Mix with sour cream, 1/4 cup fried onions, & a few crumbles of bacon & cheese. Put in a casserole dish, top with remaining onions/bacon/cheese, & bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes (or freeze uncooked & bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes when ready). Enjoy!
