June has finally arrived and I’m loving every second! I wish I could freeze time and just live in a perpetual June. Slow mornings, sunny skies, and warm breezes are my favorite and I got a new little puppy I’m obsessed with. Read on for more on my first few days of summer in South Carolina.

Boats
My sister and I picked up Boats on the second day of June! He’s so tiny and nothing but fluff! I’ve been missing Boo big time since Thanksgiving and decided to get a new puppy this summer. He has such a big personality and is a total mess. He’s goofy, teething, likes to pull my hair, and play in his water bowl. He’s napping by my desk right now and I LOVE him!

June on South Willow
I love summertime in South Willow. It’s nice to just get away and feel free. The weather was so nice and we have baby blue birds again! My dad put the blue bird house up our first summer in South Willow and now we have babies every spring and summer. I didn’t spot any deer this trip but I’m still seeing them on the security cameras so they’re just hiding.
My dress is Ciao Lucia and I LOVE it. It’s made to fit so well and is just effortlessly flattering. The material is lightweight and perfect for summer in South Carolina. Farm Boy
We went to the farmers market at the local grocery store and got sugarplums, fresh corn, and all sorts of berries and veggies! My sister made twice baked potatoes and a charcuterie board that was delicious! Boats loved the cabins and I’m guessing he figured he was a farm boy until we got him back to the beach. He napped on my Hari Mari’s while we made dinner. He’s so tiny and it doesn’t show on camera because of all his fluff!

Peanut Sprouts
We have peanuts coming up on South Willow! They just sprouted and you can barely see them! We use them as a bumper crop between cotton to help with the soil. My uncle owns the farm beside ours and he has corn coming up. We bought local boiled peanuts and corn at the market and both were so good!
