Labor Day weekend began with a fall temperature tease brought in the wake of hurricane Idalia and the passing of a musical icon. However temporary, the cooler air was a nice reprieve from the heat that will probably stick around until Thanksgiving. Read on to find all my favorite outfits for September in the South and my latest adventures on the Island.
A Jimmy Buffett Buffet
When an icon passes on you celebrate the way they would have wanted you to. My sister & I pulled out all my dads old records and played Jimmy Buffett on vinyl while steaming up a low country boil. Boo fell asleep in the kitchen eating cheesy biscuits and I decided I had to order Taylor Swifts latest release on vinyl – stay tuned.
Before the Buffet

Shrimp Run
We went on a shrimp run before the beach and got all the dinner supplies. The best cheesy biscuits are from Get Carried Away and the shrimp are from our local Seafood Market. Click the little pic’s to shop my affiliate links.
The Izzy Skirt Dress
I’m loving my first piece from Olivia James the Label. This is the Izzy skirt dress and it comes in several cute patterns. I wore it to school with a baby tee and then switched into a swimsuit for golden hour. Shown in size xs and I’m 5’4.
