Presidents Day weekend continued a beautiful and sunny February at the farm!
Road Trip
Coopers Country Store is my half-way pit stop on the way to the farm. I love this place and they always have some sort of homemade treat at the the check out counter. This time it was slices of pound cake that were delicious!
Perfect Weather
February at the farm was beautiful with just enough sunshine to keep you warm. The blue birds were out making nests in their little house and fluttering around so we would fill the bird bath up for them. The deer have been setting off the security cameras all month but stayed hidden this trip. I’m sure the fawns will start making appearances come spring.
Mallards Nest and Lucky Buck Lodge
We spruced up the little cabin and put down some new linens in the bunk room. This is an old mirror my mom and I found at the Hammock Shops years ago. Farm Party
My sister made fried chicken, corn, fresh blueberry muffins, salad, and sandwiches for lunch. We stumbled upon this new prosecco from Vera Wang and it was fantastic!! My new favorite bubbly; check it out here: Vera Wang Party Prosecco.
Farm Boo
Boo had a blast this weekend too and only tried to run away once. He got a pup cup on the way home, is exhausted, and will probably sleep for the next three days.
