Labor Day weekend always hits at just the right time. Three full weeks of school and it’s definitely time for a little holiday weekend. Read on to check out my weekend highlights and some of my favorite sales going on right now.
Perfect Beach Days
September on the beach is my favorite! Most of the tourists are gone & it’s just a little more peaceful than summer. There was also a loggerhead turtle nest right by the boardwalk & I can’t wait to see them hatch! I attached my white puff sleeve top & chino shorts from JCrew (on major sale), my Tory Burch Miller sandals, & a similar beach bag from Judith March. Lemon Drops
If you’ve stopped by before, you know I’m obsessed with Estelle Colored Glass. These are two of my favorite coupe glasses & I attached them below along with some different styles & colors. The purple one is my absolute favorite; check out my post Dolce far Niente: The Simple Sweetness of Doing Nothing for more pics! I attached a classic Lemon Drop recipe below; you can also use lemon seltzer for a mocktail version that’s kid friendly.
Lemon Drop Recipe
- 1 ounce Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
- 1 ounce Simple Syrup
- 1/2 ounce Triple Sec
- 2 ounces Vodka
- Sugar (optional – glass rem)
Labor Day Weekend Snacks
We made shrimp, deviled eggs, cold slaw, corn, mini croissant rolls, a charcuterie board, and cupcakes on Saturday and had lobster and quiche bites on Sunday. Check out my sisters Instagram @ButterbeansandBows for the recipes and more.
